Many system issues can be traced back to a mischecked setting on a computer. In order to resolve issues quickly, a Prince Support Engineer may ask to remotely access your computer. When this is needed, follow the steps below.
- Visit sos.splashtop.com. An install file should automatically begin to download. If prompted, approve this download.
- Once the download is complete, run the program by double clicking the file.
- Once opened, the control panel will provide a nine digit code. Provide your Support Engineer with this code.
- After the Engineer has connected, your the panel will inform you whois controlling your computer.
- When your issue has been resolved, the Engineer will disconnect.
- At this point, you may close and delete the program if you wish.
