Many system issues can be traced back to a mischecked setting on a computer. In order to resolve issues quickly, a Prince Support Engineer may ask to remotely access your computer.  When this is needed, follow the steps below.


  1. Visit sos.splashtop.com. An install file should automatically begin to download. If prompted, approve this download.
  2. Once the download is complete, run the program by double clicking the file.
  3. Once opened, the control panel will provide a nine digit code. Provide your Support Engineer with this code.
  4. After the Engineer has connected, your the panel will inform you whois controlling your computer.
  5. When your issue has been resolved, the Engineer will disconnect.
  6. At this point, you may close and delete the program if you wish.
